of your manuscript
Security
What you entrust to Edyth remains yours alone.
Your work trains nothing.
Manuscripts you upload are never used to train any model — not ours, and not anyone's. The model providers we rely on are bound by contract not to learn from what we send them, and Edyth will not run on a provider that is not so bound.
Guarded servers, in North America.
Your manuscript travels only over encrypted connections and rests on servers in North America, kept to the standard of the industry. It is never moved for convenience, and never sold, shared, or shown to another party.
Seen by no one.
Only you can open what you upload. There is no queue of readers, no editor, no human in the loop: the review is made by machines and read by you. Nobody at Edyth reads a manuscript unless you send it to us yourself.
Deleted means deleted.
When you delete a manuscript, the file, the text drawn from it, its figures and every review of it are removed from our servers at once, and you are shown a receipt of what went: the files, their size, the reviews. There is no bin to empty and no copy kept against your changing your mind.
Gone when you say, or on a day you name.
Your profile lets you choose a term — thirty days, ninety, a year — after which a manuscript you have not touched is deleted for you, with the same receipt. And the account itself can be deleted from the same page: every manuscript, every review, the sign-in, at once.
in plain terms
Reviews are produced by models hosted in the United States, whose terms forbid training on our requests and limit any retention to short-lived abuse monitoring. Scanned PDFs are read by a text-recognition service under the same no-training terms. Questions about any of this are welcome at [email protected].
The full statement of what we hold and who processes it is the privacy policy; the agreement under which we review your work is the terms of service.
